Remembering 2014!

2014 was a year of transitions and interesting experiences. I'd like to explain so much more, but I always digress and end up writing extremely lengthy (and eventually pointless) posts. Haha. Let me just keep to my key moments of 2014. It turned out to be a year of staycations and rest-and-relax sessions, which in hindsight, may or may not have been a bad thing. Haha.

2 Jan 2014: First time at Montigo Resorts

Kicked off the year at the most beautiful resort I've ever been to! Crystal clear waters and a private pool in your very own villa... There are no words. Read about my (photo-heavy) experience HERE.

Thank you JS for dragging my travel-averse ass on a 45-minute ferry ride to Batam, Indonesia. :)

17 Jan 2014: 2Degree Ice Art Exhibition

Since we're never going to the 'real' Harbin (in China) - we realised we both couldn't stand cold weather, much less negative-degree temperatures - we settled for this alternative. Had a great deal of fun in this little man-made ice cave in sunny Singapore. Read about my experience at the 2Degree Ice Art Exhibition HERE.

23/29 Mar 2014: Live gigs at Hard Rock Café Singapore

Had the chance to work with these bunch of talented musicians, and I'm forever grateful for the opportunity. I still am. My experience HERE.

12 Apr 2014: Last day of University life!

This speaks for itself. :)

Thank you Tony, Peiyi and Jieying for being the most wonderful people to work with (and graduate with)! I could not have wished for anyone else to go through my university journey with - read HERE.

14-22 May 2014: Graduation Trip to Seoul & Jeju-do, South Korea!

Day 1 HERE | Day 2 HERE | Day 3 HERE | Day 4 HERE | Day 5 HERE

Enjoyed Korea so much that I definitely want to return sometime soon. I took that many photos and was so, so happy with the trip that until now I have not even finished uploading the photos on the site. -_- Above are the links to Day 1 to 5, out of the 9 days we spent there.

Thankful for the boyfriend who made an incredibly fun travel buddy.

31 May – 1 Jun 2014: Birthday Staycation at Quincy Hotel

15 Jul 2014: The boy officially graduated!

25 Aug 2014: From now, a graduate!

31 Aug 2014: JS and Louisa’s Graduation Shoot

Pardon the poor resolution - I absolutely adored the shots we did for our couple graduation shoot and honestly have had too many shots to go through. Photography by Jamin Choe - who is a dear friend and is delightfully talented behind the viewfinder. Thank you Jamin!

Sep 2014: Family Graduation Photoshoot

Oct 2014: 4th Anniversary

Times flies a little faster with you, JS!
A detailed post on our 4th Anniversary 'celebration' HERE.

7-8 Dec 2014: Birthday Boy’s Staycation at Oasia Hotel

The view from our room was pretty awesome!

Our room was a corner room, nestled right at the end of this very long corridor. As Green Day sings, "I walk a lonely road... the only one that I've ever known..." LOL.

Complimentary birthday cake from the lovely staff at Oasia Hotel. Possibly the most hospitable and warm staff members I've ever met - every single one of them!

This was taken with an iPhone so pardon the resolution. Haha here's proof what a selfie stick can achieve!

We are absolute suckers for handwritten cards.

Life is what we make it.

2015 will be more than good, more than good to me.
