Through Different Eyes: Hong Kong 2015

Curated with thoughts and ideas from a disparate perspective,
a personal photo collection featuring Hong Kong, through different eyes.

If the business of life is to take a step in front, one step at a time, then I might have been doing it all wrong. I've jumped, skipped and sprinted, only to find myself finishing the dance of hopscotch, mired in the unspeakable. Through Different Eyes is a testament to what taking on a new identity has done for me in 2015, both in its positive and negative sense. The angles and framing are different, and the thoughts that inspire the shots deviate from the usual.

Routine has become my best friend, and even in its sad predictability, I find myself smiling. The consistency and certainty comforted me, because I've come to learn, that the game will continue to change. Even as new rules set in constantly, and old ones fall away, there will be no day that will be the same as another.

Life is probably not, a rollercoaster going in rounds with highs and lows one can anticipate. Life may simply be a sick game combining Chance, Faith, Ambition and Talent; the players are dealt cards. The cards will provide the illusion of control. Perhaps, Choice may some time soon become obsolete; a thing of the past.

Hong Kong was a good breather, and a reminder that the world can still be a beautiful place of warm hospitality.
