I am one for quiet and quaint places. No hustle, no bustle, no construction workers, no noise pollution would probably be the way I'll describe my "heaven" on Earth. Sure, hustle and bustle is great, but only if it isn't in Singapore. Somehow Singaporeans' version of hustle and bustle includes variations of curse words (not by me), pushing, shoving and hand-fanning (cos of the heat). Not always a nice situation to be in.
Anyway, I'm so thankful for the little birthday getaway I could enjoy the past 2 days! It had all the traits of heaven on Earth as above so yes I was pretty delighted (on top of the fact that I'm out celebrating my birthday 2.5 weeks early)!
Thank you JS for putting together a simple itinerary, an awesome canvas, the bag I've always wanted, the best dinner ever, and everything else! I'm also super thankful to God for the great weather, no rain at all in the two days! Somehow when things go too well, you gotta admit it's divine intervention. :)
