Trying out Bangkok Jam for the first time. What noobs we are! Haha.
Chef's recommendation: Beef Noodle Soup
A good mix of different 'types' of beef, from chunks, to thin slices of them, then meatballs. The kangkong was great too!

Tim, the only guy, ended up with the smallest-looking plate. Hahahaha.
So if there's a birthday, means there's cake!
The night before the dinner was set, I told Tim to find out what cake Cheryl likes, since I'm not a cake person. He dropped her a text saying, "What is the one cake you will have to eat before you die?" Way to go on the morbid question. Haha! Well she answered so specifically "Cedele's carrot cake". So here's the Carrot Walnut cake. A really light cake but great because it's not too filling or overwhelming like most western cakes are.
Chocolate Banana Cake
All in all, a great time with some buddies.
So anyway, here's the card I made her. (My boyfriend always believes I'm terrible at handicraft, just 'cause it's his talent. Haha.)
