Never have I found the weather so completely exasperating.
The past few days I've seen... sweltering, hazy heat, and it has been nothing short of nasty. The current temperature is a strange kind of hot that doesn't have you perspiring into buckets immediately, but slowly slow-cooks over the hours - At the end of the day, I just feel like a piece of black sauce chicken cooked over 8 hours in the crock pot. It's that bad.
I've always had this thought that once one starts talking about the weather, one is surely feeling socially awkward. You know how when you have nothing to say in an awkward one-on-one, and you say "It looks like it's gonna rain." Even though that might simply be just a passing comment, and that it really does look like it's gonna rain, either one of you, will definitely get the drift that someone in that conversation needs to start a proper conversation soon - if not, both will fall into the bottomless pit of weather-comments for the rest of the evening. Or is it just me?
The constant blowing of air-conditioning in my room is not helping one bit. My skin feels dried out, I feel dehydrated, I feel groggy, and I certainly feel like I'm in some sort of heat coma since I'm feeling so blur and out of sorts, that I fell asleep on the bed for 1 hour after reading 4 chapters of a new book.
I'm not quite feeling myself. Rant over.
Please rain.
