I've never been a fan of chocolate. I attribute it to the fact that it was banned from me during my childhood days. I did have a allergy to chocolates at some point then, which resulted in rashes that were terribly unforgiving and itchy. Looking back on those days (when I was allergic to pretty much everything e.g. Rice, wheat, dustmites, milk... etc), I wonder how I survived. Perhaps it explains why I remained bone-thin up until 15 years old.
Of course I continued to consume rice and milk despite the tested-positive allergies. It didn't and still doesn't make sense for me to avoid it. I think I would have died from the lack of nutrition than the acting-out of allergies had I followed advice following that allergy test results. Haha.
Well, I've grown and I have conquered most of my allergies (much because I don't give a shit and just eat them all haha). Now, my doc also says that actually when you get older your allergies do change. You may suddenly be allergic to stuff that you used to like when you were younger :O
Chocolate and dustmites are still allergies for me, but to a smaller degree than before... Heh. I will not live like I'm held back by the failure of my body!
