ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity

JS got this new tech toy a few weeks back! Introducing our new friend the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity. Despite me calling it "our new friend", no, we haven't named it. Haha.

This tablet comes in two colours, Dove Grey and Gold. The gold isn't all that gold, and looks kinda washed-out, so well he picked the Dove Grey one, above. (I know it looks so 'uncle'!) It boasts of NVIDIA® Tegra® 3 Quad-core CPU running at 1.6 GHz and a 8-megapixels rear auto-focus camera with LED, along with a 2-megapixel front camera.

Full HD! By the way, Bad Piggies is a hilarious game you can play together with a friend or boy/girlfriend.

Cute new game, Angry Birds Star Wars. The new and improved characters look hilarious in Star Wars costumes and light sabers.

One thing that's great about Android is that most of the apps that are paid on the Apple App Store, are actually free on Google Play (Android's App Store). Which means I get to play Angry Birds and all that, all for free!

I'm not a fan of Android devices after a poor experience with my first Android smartphone (the Motorola Milestone, which weighs a brick) a long time back haha, but Android is much better now...

Apps are still crashing on Android though. Haha. I'm so against my apps crashing on me. Because game data is that important to me. Clearing stages and stages of a game, and having the app crash on you for no rhyme or reason, that really ticks me off. The worst part of that, is that the game data is lost, and those tough levels you painstakingly cleared, will not be 'cleared' when you reopen the app. Horror!

Somehow seeing everyone get their hands on a tablet makes my hands itch too, but no I am resisting it because I know it'll be of no benefit to me. If you count distractions as a benefit, then fine it is beneficial haha. Besides, I just got the iPhone 5, which is not all that wow, but I just needed to do something about my previous severely laggy, 16GB iPhone 4. Haha.

It's a gadget world out there.

P.S. The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity has great battery life, and comes with a keyboard dock. With the dock attached, the tablet has an added 7 hours battery life and looks like a netbook! The keyboard enables you to do work, just like on a regular laptop. That's the most incredible thing about this tablet!
