Something so warm and serene about this picture, ‘warm’ despite the monochromatic tones.

Went out with J a few weeks ago to the Asian Civilisations Museum and really discovered some fascinating stuff about Asian cultures, and Asian religions. There was a special exhibit of Buddhist Enlightenment which showcased many different types of Buddhist statues/Buddhas in different postures symbolising different meanings and the various stories surrounding each. The Islamic exhibit was also really interesting, watching the transformation of the Qu’ran (in terms of design and the script style). Like a sponge, I was taking pictures and reading every bit of information.

There’s something so nice about diversity.

A gift from Lee Kuan Yew to the Asian Civilisations Museum. Probably my favourite piece of art (and also the first one you see the moment you get up the staircase).
